Hong Kong Overseas Media (HKMO) was established in October 2022, which is exactly about one year ago. On 23rd Feb we held a Lunar New Year and first anniversary gathering at the #Aquila restaurant in London. Our Directors Steve Vines, Joseph Ngan and Chris Wong to gather and communicate with our members, media experts, scholars, and political advocates in the Year of the Dragon.
The association invited the international lawyer team of Next Media founder Jimmy Lai and human rights lawyer Caoilfhionn Gallagher as the keynote speakers at this evening party. Tatyana Eatwell, a lawyer in the team who focuses on freedom of speech, also attended and shared.
